2008 Calendar of Events

May 8 - David Yurman 2008 Couture Collection Special Preview. In honor of Mother's Day, a percentage of sales from May 7-May 11 will benefit the Ronald McDonald House program of Orlando. Hosted by Carla Warlow, Kelly Cohen, Donna Dowless. At the David Yurman store in the Mall at Mellenia (4200 Conroy Road, Orlando) from 6:00-8:00 p.m. RSVP to 877-998-7626.

May 19 - The David Maus Foundation Presents The 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Falcon's Fire Golf Club. Information on this event is available by clicking here (PDF) or by going to www.davidmausgolf.com.  Established in 2005 by David Maus and a team of volunteers, the David Maus Foundation was formed to raise money for charitable organizations dedicated to helping children and families dealing with life-threatening illness. The Ronald McDonald House program of Central Florida is named a beneficiary of this event.

October 3 - "We're having our 9th annual Clambake" Guests will enjoy a traditional New England-style clambake that features all you-can-eat lobster, an exciting auction, music and entertainment. Our auction offers the opportunity to bid on unique experiences, vacation packages, gift certificates, jewelry and other enticing items! November 2008 - January 2009 - "Share-A-Night, Light-A-Light" Annual Giving Campaign Help "Light Up" the lights at both Ronald McDonald Houses during the holidays. This fundraiser benefits the families who stay at our Ronald McDonald Houses of Orlando. Although our costs are much higher, we ask families to donate $15 per night and no family is every turned away for their inability to pay. Each light symbolizes a one night stay for a family and are $15 each. Sponsorships begin at $500. December 14 - "Share-A-Night, Light-A-Light" Open House and Lighting Community Open House followed by the Lighting Ceremony. The festivities will be held at the Ronald McDonald House located near Florida Children's Hospital at the intersection of Princeton Street and Alden Road. Each light is symbolic of a $15 donation by the Central Florida community through the "Share-A-Night, Light-A-Light" campaign to help families staying at Orlando's two Ronald McDonald Houses.
