Pop Tabs Produce More Than Fizz!

Here's how easy it is to make a difference in the lives of the families who turn to the Ronald McDonald Houses in Orlando in their time of medical crisis:

  • Pop off those tabs from your beverage and soda cans.
  • Save them in any container.
  • Bring them to the Ronald McDonald House at 2201 Alden Road or to the house at 1630 Kuhl Avenue in Orlando.
  • Tabs are then weighed for recycling and the monies raised go to help with our costs to operate our Ronald McDonald House.

Who can help?

You and your friends, your school, your civic/service group, your church, your business...anyone who wants to help the families of sick children who stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Orlando. Young children should be supervised by an adult.

Why "Pull for the Ronald McDonald House?"

Pop Tabs

The program creates awareness of and community support for the House, raises funds to help our families, and promotes recycling at the same time.

Please just say "YES" to becoming a part of the "Pull for the Ronald McDonald House" program. Let's see how many pop tabs Central Florida can collect.

Why collect only the tabs?

The aluminum tabs are smaller and cleaner than collecting cans; tabs can make a big impact when collected in numbers. They are also easier for the Houses to handle when receiving large volumes. Lastly, our pop tabs collection does not interfere with other can recycling programs that we highly recommend pop tab collectors support by collecting their cans as well as the tabs.

What do I do with the tabs that I have collected?

Pop tabs can be delivered to the Orlando Ronald McDonald Houses between 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, seven days a week or take them to a recycling center and submit a check made payable to RMHC of Central Florida.
