Position Title: Corporate Giving Manager

Reports to: Chief Development Officer

Job Description: The Corporate Giving Manager is responsible for cultivating, developing, and overseeing relationships with existing corporate donors and new prospects in support of RMHCCF’s strategic objectives. The position will qualify, cultivate, and solicit prospective donors and build the donor pipeline. The position will primarily manage the McDonald’s Incentive Program with the 190+ restaurants in the Central Florida region by engaging restaurant managers and front-line staff to support the Round Up program.

Specific Duties:

  • Develop and manage a stewardship and cultivation program for corporate donors that identifies recognition levels and support.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate gift prospects. Provide strategic leadership to staff and others in designing and implementing Development and Operations programs needed to sustain
    support.
  • Oversee and manage corporate relationship memberships such as chambers of commerce, the Orlando Economic Partnership, Downtown Orlando Partnership, and other groups to ensure participation and ongoing outreach.
  • In consultation with the Chief Development Officer, annually establish personal goals, objectives, and strategies for fundraising, and regularly assess progress toward goals.
  • Ensure proper stewardship and recognition of corporate donors in portfolio.
  • Manage the McDonald’s Restaurants Incentive Program to ensure annual goals are met through the Round Up program, collection boxes, and annual promotions.
  • Assist with training restaurant managers and appropriate staff to engage in the incentive program and ensure that all collateral is properly displayed in the restaurant and in the employee area.
  • Track monthly store progress towards goals and distribute incentive items based on levels of achievement; continuously communicate with stores regarding benchmarks.
  • Assist with identifying, qualifying, and securing corporate sponsorships for annual events.
  •  Assist with events as needed in lead up to events and day-of activities.
  • Identify and research grant opportunities through private and corporate foundations.
  • Prepare written proposals, informational, and other materials needed to secure gifts.
  • Professionally and clearly articulate RMHCCF’s vision and funding priorities verbally and in writing to prospects and donors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years’ related experience and demonstrated success in donor identification, cultivation, and stewardship.
  • Documented success in personally implementing sophisticated, multi-year cultivation strategies that use a relationship-building and moves management approach leading to successful gift closure.
  • Ability to initiate and build relationships with prospective individual donors and interact via telephone and in-person.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a talent for building strong and productive relationships across constituencies.
  • Demonstrated success in organizing work, meeting strict deadlines, and setting priorities.
  • Self-motivation and discipline to regularly set and exceed work goals.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and networking skills with individuals and large groups.
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a high project-volume environment.
  • Ability to maintain highly sensitive and confidential donor information.
  • Ability to travel when necessary to engage and solicit prospects.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge (or equivalent donor database) preferred.
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Tactful, flexible, diplomatic and trustworthy with a positive attitude.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and operable vehicle.
